Some students are reluctant to join in on discussions. This is one teacher’s recommendation to use affective based questions in addition to the cognitive ones we usually ask. Instead of asking students “What do you think about this?”, ask “How do you feel about this?” This is natural since we frequently refer to Bloom’s Cognitive Domain but rarely to his Affective Domain.
