Our  Electronics Engineering Technology graduates can choose a career in government or private industry in areas such as:

  • computers & IT
  • manufacturing
  • design and development (hardware and software)
  • testing and quality control
  • maintenance and repair
  • technical marketing and sales
  • installation and commissioning of systems

As an Electronics Technologist in radio frequency safety and electromagnetic systems, working for the Quality Engineering Test Establishment (QETE), I feel that staff at the College provide me with the basic knowledge I needed to do my job.  They also opened doors, giving me the opportunity to make connections which eventually allowed me to end up working where I do now. Heritage is a great learning place with very knowledgeable staff where you will form new friendships and make lasting memories.

2018 Electronics Engineering Technology Graduate

Upon graduation from the “Electronics & IT” program, I was able to access a position with a private company. Currently, I came back to Heritage College as a lab technician within the same program I graduated from. I am financially stable now with lots of personal achievements. All of this was possible because of hard work and excellent academic guidance. If I would have the chance to start all over again, I would choose exactly the same without thinking. Thank you again Heritage College and the Electronics department.
