Faculty and staff, please read the important memos sent in outlook by the Academic Dean.
The Minister of Higher Education has confirmed that the English Exit Exam planned for Dec. 16, 2020 has been cancelled.
Exceptionally, the exam will be exempted for:
1) Any student graduating at the end of the Fall 2020 semester;
2) Any non-graduating student who has previously completed the three required English language of instruction courses (Does not include the Block B/program specific English).
· 603-101-MQ – Introduction to College English
· 603-102-MQ – Literary Genres (Also known as English 102. Local course numbers are 603-2xx-HR)
· 603-103-MQ – Literary Themes (Also known as English 103. Local course numbers are 603-3xx-HR)
3) Any student who is registered in their 3rd English language of instruction (603-3xx-HR) this Fall 2020 semester. Important: If a student does not pass their English 103 this semester, they will be required to write the English Exit Exam the next time they retake the English 103 course.
