The Minister of Higher Education has confirmed that the English Exit Exam planned for Dec. 16, 2020 has been cancelled.

Exceptionally, the exam will be exempted for:

1) Any student graduating at the end of the Fall 2020 semester; 

2) Any non-graduating student who has previously completed the three required English language of instruction courses (Does not include the Block B/program specific English). 

• 603-101-MQ – Introduction to College English 

• 603-102-MQ – Literary Genres (Also known as English 102. Local course numbers are 603-2xx-HR) 

• 603-103-MQ – Literary Themes (Also known as English 103. Local course numbers are 603-3xx-HR) 

3) Any student who is registered in their 3rd English language of instruction (603-3xx-HR) this Fall 2020 semester. Important: If a student does not pass their English 103 this semester, they will be required to write the English Exit Exam the next time they retake the English 103 course.
